Unspeakable Freedom Music was formed in 1985 by 3 business partners; Walter C. Mason, Gary Chappell, and Jim Chappell as an independent production company for uplifting original instrumental music they wanted to make available to the public.

It’s all about reaching those people who love independently created music that fits their taste and needs.”

Unspeakable Freedom Music has been affiliated with music licensing company BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.) for 18 years with our music receiving top-ten national radio airplay in the Adult Contemporary, New Age, and Smooth Jazz categories, along with extensive US and international television broadcast usage. We have worked with the following television networks and shows: NBC, ABC, and CBS television, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Barbara Walter’s Specials, The Drew Carey Show, The Summer and Winter Olympic Games, and daytime dramas such as One Life to Live etc.

Artist Jim Chappell also scored an original piece for the Blake Edwards directed motion picture “SWITCH.”
